And so we didn't quite get everything into the first dumpster so we brought it back for a second go. This time we are finishing off the old wood and topping it with green waste from years of over growth. Unfortunately, the bee sting to my eye wasn't captured on tape, but this is when it happened.

Round 6: Progress Pt. 3 - Take A Load Off
With our big blue dumpster finally here, we can start getting rid of the junk in our trunk! If cable television was what it is now back in the day then I would definitely vote for Marisa's Grandpa to be showcased on an episode of Hoarders. We could build a whole new house with all this wood!!!!
Round 5: Progress Pt. 2 - Dark Clouds
Dark clouds are definitely looming as we try and get some work done before the heavens open up and dump down on us. Everyday there is a new surprise to uncover.
Round 4: Progress Pt. 1 - No Walls and Bad Words
Here is a quick look at the progress on the inside. May not be suitable for minors or people who think Marisa is an angel.
Part 3: "The Yard"
Time is ticking by and we are now able to show you the yard. Beware of all the wood. Marisa thinks she saw Big Foot back here. There is a lot of work on the inside of this house and a lifetime of it on the outside. Behold "The Yard"!!!!!

Tour de Shambles
As some of you may know Steve and I have bought my grandparent's house in Walnut Creek. Along with the many perks for buying this house, we also have a lot of work ahead of us. It's an older home that has not been updated. What we like about the house is that it's big, has a huge yard and has a unique style. See Eichler. We could potentially have a house like The Incredibles! We thought we would share our home remodeling adventures because we have no idea what we are doing but we think it will be fun or could potentially be a train wreck. Please feel free to leave us comments and advice, we could use both! So without further ado, let the renovations begin...
